My fiance (feels weird to say that!) Shaun and I moments after the proposal. He fooled me into a walk through the Capitol Rose Gardens in Sacramento. I'm so excited!!!

RAW artist
Some of you may remember that on May 10th, I participated in an artists showcase. I featured my jewelry. The show was a great success, my jewelry seemed well received and I was filled with new ideas and constructive criticism to move forward and improve on my work. Many of these pieces sold at the show but some and many others not at the show are available on my Etsy store.

Saved in the Desert
A couple weeks ago I spent the weekend in San Diego visiting friends. My friend Alicia and I took a road trip out to the desert. Our goal was Salvation Mountain, if you don't know about it, I suggest clicking here to read all about it's interesting story. Basically it is a fifty foot tall "mountain" made of adobe and painted with a mural relaying "god's message". The place is weird, eerie, silent and hot. Brutally hot. The day we were there it was 109 degrees. Even the most atheist of people *points to self* can enjoy this bizarre, brightly colored "mountain" in the middle of the desert. Aside from being saved, we had visions of photo shoots out in the vast emptiness of the desert. We filled the backseat of the car with furs, heels, jewelry and tiny, sheer clothing. It was a long six hours to and from San Diego but so so worth it.

I like it RAW
May 10th come see me and fellow artists at the Sacramento RAW Artist Showcase! Myself and many others will displaying our best work. I will be showing my jewelry line and debuting some brand new pieces specially created just for this event. Tickets are $10, you can purchase them here. The event is at 8pm at the Miami Beach Club in Citrus Heights, CA. It would mean a TON to me if you could make it out!
